Anna Grape

I'm a 29 year old freelancing illustrator living in Sweden. I have a little family of two dogs and a boyfriend, and spend most of my days drawing.
In addition to doing commission illustration work, I also run A Grape Design, where I sell products with my illustrations to people all over the world! I'm super grateful being able to work with what I love doing the most.

Have you always been creative and artistic?

I guess so, I've always loved drawing and making stuff! When I was little, I mostly drew horses and trolls I think.

How would you describe the style of your work?

Colorful, playful, whimsical, weird, funny.. yeah

What’s in your pencil case and what’s your favorite tool?

I've recently started drawing a lot more by hand, so I have a whole bunch of promarkers! And also thin liner pens and a 2H pencil.
Other times I use my wacom, which I love!

Who is your favorite superhero?

I must say Sailor Moon I think. She's awesome.

If you could have one super power what would it be?

I'm kind of shy, so to be able to become invisible would be really nice sometimes!

Where do you look for inspiration?

Pinterest, music, fashion, random stuff everywhere!

Who are your favorite artists or comic book authors?

I love Mike Mitchells illustrations. Other than that I can't really think of anyone! So boring. But I don't really have favorites, I love a lot of artists!
