DIY Studded Fashion Collar

Recreate the look with Caroline's DIY Studded Fashion Collar tutorial:

How would you describe your style?

Bold and bright! I think fashion should be fun; I think my style reflects my playful side and love of colour.

What's your favourite piece in your wardrobe?

Oh thats too hard aha!! I think my vintage clothes and handbags have a special place in my heart but this month my favourite item is actually a faux fur coat that I bought in liverpool a few years ago.

Who are your style icons?

I love retro glamour so monroe and hepburn are classic icons for me! my modern inspiration comes from ecclectic dressers like alexa chung, diane kruger and lana del rey.

Do you have any favourite designers?

Lots, phillip lim, chanel, isabel marant, balenciaga to name a few but I love high street collaboration like the topshop collections from louise grey and jw anderson as well.

Where are your favourite places to shop for new clothes clothes?

I'm a high street girl so urban outfitters, asos, topshop, and independent vintage shops are my go-to places.

Do you make or customise your outfits?

I tend to customise outfits more as it's quicker!

Do you have any great tips for mixing up and personalising an outfit?

I tend to take out old clothes packed away a few times a year, you'd be surprised what items you have forgotten about that can be cut into something new or that have come back into style. taking the arms off an old shirt or ajdusting an dress to a new length can give it a whole new look. I also love to mix prints and colours; layering jumpers over floaty summer dresses gives an ecclectic feel and I love to accessories with lots of textured bangles.
