DIY Jeweled Triangle Necklace

Recreate the look with Erin's DIY Jeweled Triangle Necklace tutorial:

How would you describe your style?

Casual, classic, with a sprinkling of vintage and world-traveler.

What's your favourite piece in your wardrobe?

I love, love, love my denim shirts. I recently ruined my original one by washing it with a rogue red scarf, and was pretty heartbroken afterward! Now, I have multiples so I'm never without.

Who are your style icons?

I take a lot of inspiration from stylish women in the past. For example, the ladies of Studio 54, like Laura Hutton, Angelica Houston, and Bianca Jagger. (Actually, all of Mick Jagger's women, like Marianne Faithfull and Jerry Hall!) Also, Francoise Hardy and Faye Dunaway in Bonnie and Clyde.

Do you have any favourite designers?

Ralph Lauren always does American style so well and does an amazing job of reinterpreting the past. I also really like Isabel Marant, Suno, and Rodarte.

Where are your favourite places to shop for new clothes clothes?

I'm definitely a bargain shopper. For trendy stuff, it's H&M, for fun basics, the Gap, and mixed in plenty of thrifted items or DIY.

Do you make or customise your outfits?

I try to customize what I can, but I'm a terrible sewer! I prefer to put my spin on things through accessories I make myself, especially jewelry.

Do you have any great tips for mixing up and personalising an outfit?

Every morning I try to incorporate at least one piece (hopefully more!) that tells a story about who I am. Whether it's earrings from a trip to India, a necklace I made myself, or a bracelet with my (and my sister's) initials, I try to put "me" in as much as I can.
