Badly Named - Wonderfully Tasty!
A simple Christmas Time Recipe passed down from my grandmother for the holiday season!

  • Step 1

Take a large mixing bowl and pour 1 cup of Wheat Chex, 2 cups Rice Chex and 2 cups of Corn Chex into the bowl.

Note: I use less wheat chex as I don't care for it as much as I do the others.

  • Step 2

Add 1 cup of pretzels, 1 cup of almonds and 1 cup of cashews.

  • Step 3

Carefully mix together – you don’t want to crush the Chex Mix into crumble. Mix it evenly as possible.

  • Step 4

After mixing carefully - WITH NO CRUMBLIES! - pour mixture onto an unwaxed cookie sheet. Make as evenly spread as possible.

  • Step 5

Take 1 package of Vanilla Flavored Almond Bark (roughly, 1 lb) and put into a microwave safe bowl and nuke it for approximately 1 minute. You want it to be melted but with some chunks in it - they'll go away once you stir the mixture. If after 1 minute it's not melted, nuke it for 30 seconds more.

  • Step 6

Once the Almond Bark is at it's required melty-ness, pour it evenly over Chex/Nut/Pretzel Mixture.

  • Step 7

Stir carefully and let sit on cookie sheet until sufficiently hardened.

  • Step 8

Break off carefully (or not, cuz the cook/baker gets to eat the left-overs), and put into bakers/confectionary bags, or whatever containers you like! Tie up and decorate however you see fit!!
