  1. Step 1

    Step 1

Search through your stash of fabrics until you find two fabric that you like. Can be contrasting al completley mismatched like mine haha.

  2. Step 2

    Step 2

Ok, this is the basic bag design. (Sorry it messes up a bit)

  3. Step 3

    Step 3

You only need to cut out 3 basic shapes:
2x A of fabric 1 (red one for me)
2x B of fabric 2 (black one for me)
    2x A Interfacing
    2x B Interfcaing
2x C of your lining fabric(mine is same as fabric 1 lol)
    A = 5x18cm
    B = 15x24cm
C = 24x15x18, look at picture lol i cant really explain

  4. Step 4

    Step 4

Draw them out, then get cutting :D

  5. Step 5

    Step 5

Now fuse on the interfacing onto the A's and B's.

  6. Step 6

    Step 6

Now comes the hardest bit( its not hard...honest!) Decide how many pleats you want (I had 5) and then put them in. Depending on how many you have the size will vary but ultimatley the size has be around the same size as A. This part takes a while to get right but then it goes quicker. Just do the same to the other part B (use the already pin pleated piece B to help you)

  7. Step 7

    Step 7

Sew the pleats in ABOVE where you would normally sew! Hard to explain but I hope you can see it in the pic.

  8. Step 8

    Step 8

Then pin together parts A and B and sew! Repeat twice.(for noth pieces of B and A)

  9. Step 9

    Step 9

OK then pin around the bottom and sides.

  10. Step 10

    Step 10

    Now sew!

  11. Step 11

    Step 11

    Trim round the sides.

  12. Step 12

    Step 12

    Turn it inside out.

  13. Step 13

    Step 13

Ok now for the lining. Grab your fabric and draw out part C and cut!

  14. Step 14

    Step 14

    Pin sides and bottom.

  15. Step 15

    Step 15

Get sewing! ... now trim edges.

  16. Step 16

    Step 16

Ok another slightly hard to explain bit to explain...pinch the corners and sew across about 2cm up each side fromt he corner. Do that to both sides.

  17. Step 17

Oh I nearly forgot, grab the outside, turn inside out and do the same thing to the corners ^^ Turn right side out again. (havn't got pic sorry :( )

  18. Step 18

    Step 18

Now! Get your magnetic snap thingy and put into lining. Follow the instructions you got in pack (or just jab through and bend the metal things like I did :D ) Oh be careful to not have it too high up (like I did :((( )

  19. Step 19

Ok get your lining (it should be wrong side out). Now turn over the edge and pin. Again forgot to take pics for next couple of steps!

  20. Step 20

Get your outer piece, turn over the edge and pin.

  21. Step 21

Put the lining into the outer. Start at the same (its the easiest I reckon) Pin them together, taking the pins out as you go.

  22. Step 22

    Step 22

    Sew around the top..

  23. Step 23

    Step 23

    TADAAAA! It's finished! (I hope!)
