A great gift to make in an afternoon

I like to make these for birthday presents for our little girls friends. They take next to no time to make but our super special and loved by all!

  1. Step 1

    Step 1

    INSERT
    Cut insert out of calico
    17inch long x 8inch wide x 2

    sew together leaving a 3inch gap
    turn through so stitching is on inside
    fill the insert with Hobyfill
    stuff it nice and tight
    sew up gap (I use my machine as this will not be on show)

    put aside

  2. Step 2

    Step 2

    OUTSIDE
    Cut
    17inch long x 8inch wide x 1
    This is for the front of the pillow (I did patchwork on mine to use up fabric I had)


  3. Step 3

    Step 3

    BACK
    Cut
    12inch long x 8inch wide x 1
    10inch long x 8inch wide x 1

    hem the two bits of denim for the back of the pillow
    place all fabric right sides together and pin
    take care with the denim back

  4. Step 4

    Step 4

    pull through and give it a good iron


  5. Step 5

    Step 5

    put the insert in (it’s a tight fit but it will work)
    and there you go!
