These puppy cupcakes are easy to make and kids love them. Woof!
I don't have the reciepe from the attached book because I made them at my cousins, so I won't be giving any measurements etc but you should get the rough idea.

  • Step 1

Find a basic cupcake recipe or buy some pre-prepared.

  • Step 2

While the cupcakes are cooling, create the blue butter frosting by mixing together butter, sugar and blue food colouring. Spread the frosting on the top of the cupcakes.

  • Step 3

Make 2 sausage shapes with the ready to roll white icing and place them at the front of the cupcakes for the legs. Slightly flatten and draw paws with chocolate icing.

  • Step 4

Roll more of the ready to roll icing into a ball to use as the head and make two finger imprints in the front of the ball for the eye sockets. Place this on the centre of the cupcake, just on top of the end of the paws. Again flatten slightly.

  • Step 5

Draw on the eyes and nose with the chocolate icing.

  • Step 6

Mix some of the chocolate icing with the ready to roll white icing. Roll into two sausage shapes and flatten. Then place on either side of the head.
