  1. Step 1

    Step 1

    Here is my foray into potato printing. I painted a card board with a coat of chalkboard paint (I looove that stuff). The potato was cut in half, blotted on a paper towel and the organic circular shape drawn on with black permanent marker. I carved away at the potato to make the shape raised. This step only took a few minutes, being a very simple design.

  2. Step 2

    Step 2

    I used white acrylics to stamp the design onto the board, letting the image fade as I went across the board. Some of the stamps took on a sort of half moon shape. I think I should call this "Ghostly Amoebas".
