basic enough start with your background. it is way easier to paint the flowers over the base rather then trying top paint around them

free hand the flowers with a pencil first and then go to town. I like a really loose look for the flowers so i decided on doing a few random paint lines here and there around them. i stuck to the background color pattern and viola done :)

These are beautiful. They have given me inspiration for my art project at college :) I've already made one to experiment. I squirted deep puple paint onto a piece of paper and then squirted white paint on. Then I got a scrunched up piece of tissue and started dabbing it across the page. It creates a real nice effect :)
