Collaged Altoid Tin

The pictures aren't so great, but it looks pretty spiffy when you actually see it. The second picture shows of the glitter nail polish really well.
I just converted it into an ipod case by putting some foam on the inside. I'll add pics soon - once i drill out a hole for the ear-bud cord.
A quick run-through of how I made this:
I cleaned the top with windex to remove any residual oils, then painted it with the solid color nail varnish/polish/whatever. I recommend good ventilation for this step!
I cut out my image and applied glue with the glue stick to the back of the picture NOT the top of the tin. I then cut out 4 larger hearts and two smaller hearts from a foil gum wrapper and glued those down, too. Again the glue goes on the back of the paper, not the front of the tin. I covered the whole thing with the glitter clear nail polish to seal and protect it, as well as to give it some sparkle.
